Weekly Lunch Meeting: FGCU Women’s Basketball

Join Us for our Weekly Meeting! We will hear all about the exciting success of the FGCU Women’s Basketball Team from Head Coach, Raina Harmon.  FGCU finished Harmon’s first season 16–16 overall and 11–7 in the ASUN, advancing to the second round of the WNIT.

Raina Harmon is head coach of the Florida Gulf Coast University women’s basketball program. Named the third head coach in program history in April 2025, Harmon arrived at FGCU after eight seasons as an assistant coach and director of recruiting at the University of Iowa. During her tenure, the Hawkeyes compiled a 208–63 record, won five Big Ten championships, earned eight NCAA Tournament berths and made consecutive appearances in the national championship game. She also helped recruit and develop several WNBA draft selections, including national player of the year Caitlin Clark. A Detroit native and former Central Michigan University player, Harmon previously coached at Central Michigan and served as director of women’s basketball operations at the University of Michigan. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports studies from Central Michigan and a master’s degree in sports administration from Wayne State University.
