The Town and County are partnering to invest in public improvements such as the new pier, beach renourishment, parks, and infrastructure upgrades. Together, these public and private investments are helping create a more resilient community while restoring Fort Myers Beach as one of Southwest Florida’s premier destinations for residents and visitors alike.

Jacki Liszak is the President and CEO of the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, a position she has held since 2016. A longtime Fort Myers Beach resident and business owner, she also owns Sea Gypsy Vacation Rentals and has become one of Southwest Florida’s most recognized advocates for tourism, small businesses, and community resilience. Throughout her tenure, she has guided the Chamber and local businesses through significant challenges, including red tide events, the COVID-19 pandemic, and Hurricane Ian, while championing economic recovery, environmental stewardship, and responsible redevelopment. Liszak serves on numerous regional boards, including the Chamber of Southwest Florida Advisory Board and the Board of Directors of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. She is widely respected for her collaborative leadership and unwavering commitment to preserving the unique character of Fort Myers Beach while helping shape its future.
